There are many differences and similarities between the impact of European Colonization on Anglo America and South America. The Politics are very different in both Americas. The Europeans brought over a government to Latin America where there was one ruler, and that one ruler decided everything. However, in America, the settlers that colonized the New England area brought over a government that was "of the people, by the people, for the people." The Economy is somewhat the same. The Europeans brought over the idea of trading with other countries, which we still continue to do today. And the Social effects are different. The majority of Anglo America is English-speaking people, while the majority of Latin America speaks Spanish.
